		<description><![CDATA[Mission: Medical, Vulnerable Children/Orphans, Community Outreach, and Evangelism Ministry: Christians United for Haiti, Inc. (CUH) is a non-profit humanitarian and missionary organization based in Hampton Roads, VA. Founder and President, Calherbe Monel is a native of Haiti who has been living in the United States for 20years. CUH has been very instrumental in the last few years helping other organizations and individuals to implement ministry partnership in Haiti. Activities: We will fly into Port-au-Prince, Haiti (capital), minister to displaced families, orphaned children, help with local outreach and community service. There may also be some ministry opportunities to those in local hospitals and tent cities. There will be opportunities to work with children, do school and recreational activities, evangelism, medical, prayer for the sick and those who desperately need hope in time of great crisis. Age Requirements: 18 years and older, under 18 must be accompanied by parents/guardians. Immunizations:  Recommendations include tetanus-diphtheria (if you have not had a booster in the past 10 years), polio booster, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and typhoid. Malaria prevention required. Antibiotic prescriptions are recommended for cholera prevention. Climate: Haiti’s climate is tropical.
